BROADCAST AND INSTALLATION ENGINEERING CC was founded in 1988 as an engineering company to service the broadcast and telecomms industry in Africa. The engineering services include consultation for transmission systems and studio projects, surveys and site investigations, communication with local and licensing authorities, and installation and erection of broadcast and transmission systems on a turnkey basis. These services are supported by our own in-house repair and testing facilities.
The combined experience of the personnel at B&I covers a wide range of expertise, which includes radio and television studio design and integration, outside broadcasting vehicles, production facilities for various disciplines in the entertainment industry, terrestrial, satellite and microwave link transmission systems (transmitters and antennas), including studio transmission links (STL's), telecomms switching and dedicated computer networks.
Our clients includes broadcast and telecommunication companies in most of the countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, as well as educational institutes and local municipalities.
